Gendered data and health planning - A resource for local government


A resource to assist local government in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plans 2017 – 2021. The resource demonstrates the value of sex-disaggregated data, and highlights some of the most pressing needs for women in your communities. It provides gendered data, information, and 'what to do' suggested actions on the following WHGNE priority areas (based on the priority areas of the Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2015 - 2019): Using a gendered lens in all planning; Prevention of violence against women; Sexual and reproductive health; and, Promotion of breastfeeding and family friendly communities.
