Community based prevention of violence against women and their children: A toolkit for practitioners

This toolkit has been designed for practitioners and community organisations who wish to engage the community, in a participatory, partnership approach to prevent violence against women and their children, and to work with other organisations in this effort. Based on a strengths based community development approach, it details and describes primary prevention, and provides tools for working with the community to build their capacity to plan, implement and evaluate prevention activities under the themes of respectful relationships, gender equality and promotion of nonviolent norms.
